Can you find eth fools elite weps or just excepetional and then up them?

I found my first eth fools gothic sword is it worth upping? champion swords arent too bad. the stats are:

212-378 base dam
+267% ed
fools mod
+34 to ar
9% life steal
replenish life +4

And u can upgrade rares to elite on non ladder? thatd b cool cuz i think i had a e fools flamberg i can up. or maybe its a great sword i cant remember. had it for years on a mule

yes, u can find them in any base, normal, except, or elite.

no its not ladder only, that just upping uniques from except to elite.

the only exception is eth phase blades, because eth phase blades dont spawn, because phase blades have no durability. dimensional blades can spawn eth tho, and do have durability, and then can be upgraded to elite phase blade and keep the eth.

I don't see why it should not spawn on elite weapons.

upping for self use, it's not a good spawn, misses 2 sockets, eth, repair, 10-40 ias, etc.

oh yeah i forgot about sockets and ias duh.and repair would be cool. theyre so rare im not really sure what stats r good. i have a much better idea now tho thx
