ik was not very strong to begin with (was nice budged build; 2shael in hammer and ure good to go)... but now due to the speed nerf its even weaker and restricts your gear even more (since u need 125 ias to reach 5fpa now - u either need highlord or 2xias jool in helm).

any oath is now better than ik set in my eyes.

I didn't notice a drop off with the nerfs

I got 2 shaels in Ik and use angelics so I sit at 100ias

I can still ww and berzerk my way from act 1 hell to baal act 5, with minimal challenges.

Sure my killspeed is not GFG, but I also don't have any max ar charms

This discussion is about budget - ik is budget, and comfortably does everything quite well. I'm barely lvl 81 with 4k health with trash anni and torch

You go right ahead and use oath, and other items that will cost more than Ik, and now we are out of the realm of budget

u can remove the 2 shael from maul if u dont go for 5fpa at 125 ias. 58 is breakpoint for 6fpa. u did not notice drop from 4fpa to 6fpa? its way less hits bro (6,25 attacks per second vs 4.16 attack per second...). thats -2 attacks per second. 1/3 of your hits are gone...
i consider oath as budged. eth balrogblade + mal pul aint that expensive / hard to find. probably easier to find than ik armor.

I have nothing in my ik helm! So I will put 2 x ias jewels in and see if I notice a difference

I see what you mean about loosing 1/3 hits - but even with that info it doesn't change the fact my barb is still stomping through the game with relative ease


Also regarding ik arm, for some reason it's cheap - even at reset, 100fg was what I paid and ist was what, 125fg or so?
