Why would a smiter put a 2-10 cold damage jewel in his shield?

For the scenario when people have no idea how to jewel items.

Especially considering a rare/Jstod jstod etc Paladin shield should only ever have 2-4 Ber in it.

Never 1 Ber.

Sejm’s or whatever jstod is what you bought is terribly jeweled and should be hel’d.

You likely mass overpayee for it considering the jewel combo in it is useless. It’s been happening a lot lately on vt shields for some reason.

I read somewhere that the cold increases the freeze duration from Godz or holy freeze aura? By 1 second per source then it gets pvp penalty ? I’m assuming that’s why he did it and yea that’s the one I own.

I’m not really sure I havent been able to test it yet but was trying to see if anyone ever tried the scs before or whatever. All the jewels are perfect I just don’t think he would do something like that for no reason.

Barbs still Lo their rare weapons even tho a 40/15max adds more damage than Lo

Sins still Lo their rare claws even tho a 40/15max adds more damage

People still 3-4x jewel their Jstods even tho at minimum you should always have at least 2x Ber in it


People are dumb. The jewels in your jstod are terrible.

I’m not gonna assume sejm is dumb, I’ll test it out before I do anything. I know I see barbs with cold dmg scs when they don’t got a raven on and I’ve seen this before, I just haven’t been on to get the shield and test it yet but I did buy it.

They do this for the unlikely circumstance of someone not using a cham so their run/walk during wsg is slower.

It’s only viable vs idiots in pubs.

Ya that makes sense but he was always a tv so he never charged me before, there is something here I just need to figure it out.

There is nothing to figure out.

He didn’t know what he was doing and wasn’t smart enough to do the basic calculations of VT.

The shield should be hel’d and you overpayed for it.

I’m not gonna hel it, the lr jewel is a impossible find, and I only paid 15k which is nothing compared to what I have been seeing. I’m sure it effects the freeze duration but I have no clue, I’ll know in a day or two.
