34 ias ba is better for ww in every way except ba has bad durability and pb is indestructible.

before WW got fucked this was true
blizzard "fixed" WW by making off-weapon IAS work on it too, so it now gets affected by the slow of decrep and holy freeze... you now need to speed of PB to hit acceptable FPA when decrepd

yeah but pb won't give you enough speed to overcome that you would just be giving up range.

by that reasoning every ww barb would be using botd gpa.. in pvm range is a downside for WW because it spreads damage around more when you're trying to kill single monsters with some others standing around, like when seal popping in chaos, and if you're missing hits on your kill target it's a learn to aim issue not a weapon range issue

for reference, with a standard dual grief highlord LOH setup you will hit 7 FPA while decreped with BA and 5 FPA with PB, the difference is that big

ok interesting point about range. what about fan it works with ww now? you're not going to run 2 griefs if you are using axes. won't beast/greif be faster than grief pbs. if not you could just run beast/grief war spikes and they would be. that would eliminate the range issue too. gpa ww barbs were pretty good 10 years ago btw.
