Are there other classes that use Botd for pvm? I know some amazons use a pike, but could t find much else concrete.

Zeal / charge
WW / Frenzy / Zerk
Fury
Jab / fend

but its almost never BIS ...

ah thats more of a better worded question. is it bis for anyone? for me, its just nice to use instead of my griefZ for pvm for leeching and not thinking about repairs

PVM grief = phase blade, dont need to repair.

grief pb does so much dmg vs monsters that the TINY dmg u lose at not using zerk isnt even noteworthy.

which begs the question on a dual wielding barb whats the best offhand for a grief pb mainhand, answer: grief pb. just use 2 of them and ww kill all mobs.

yeah but if you pvp like myself here and there, id rather use axes. if i had dual spec id agree. unless someone out there has tested using grief pb with beastz and its still better damage for pvm than using botdz in the MH, despite not having sword spec.

Botd doesn’t even come remotely close to grief dmg

It’s not double but it’s not far from double damage

Avenger paladin if you are looking for something different for pvm... it uses botdz just because of how vengence skill works.
Its one of the few cases where botd is actually bis for melee.

More often than not, grief will be the best. Has the highest avg damage and mods like venom/ds/-def (pvp) & DTD/ITD(pvm) are just too good to pass up.

Don’t forget zerk axe has longer range than pb
