What are hell viable unconventional barb builds?

Specifically thinking about either a Wolfhowl / Beast barb, a throw barb or a spear class barb. I feel a throw barb would be different and alot of fun....viable without billion dollar weapons?

Ur wsm should be averaged somehow, but people are unsure how at the moment, and i have done no testing after ptr on its ias breaks.
Im pretty sure u reach the 5,5 attacks pr second break with this already.
Now i dont know ur budget, but eni is ofc best, forti is a Great alternativ and treachury May even let you hit the 6,25 attacks per seconds breakpoint. I see if i get some time to test in a day or two. Then i can come back to you with breakpoints.

Pride/might merc, or Even act1 fana merc. You May consider act5 merc, but i think the other two are better and act5 would be more exspensive, yet a big help vs bosses.

It used to be a char that was bad for big area clear due to quanti, that is fixed now.

I suggest at least 1 skill to war cry, and then you could actually do chaos zeal pops for pushing high level, which was already done in d2lod.

Other usable items:
Arach/nos/strings
10fcr/dual leech ring
Raven
Helm 20fcr/3 x ed or res-ias jools // Guilaume // arreat // coa // 2 * topaz IK helm // even shako.. Depends if u want to push mf or not, ofc wts is good boots too and gives up to 50% mf.

So you can tweak for mf or for killspeed.

U can also ditch lacerator, and use forexample 2 warshrike with lw + lawbringer act5 merc. Or eth reapers might merc. Both are viable for that...

i made a throw barb:

all cheap items rings, just forti + 2x eth demon arch balrog spears (both self-found^^)

had no charms exept a normal torch/anni
random merc (eth duriels/andy face/insight i had lying around)

it kills everything easy on hell p1-3 ...

if u make it decent with Lacerator etc for amp and maybe a merc with pride, a decent inventory .. its probably very strong

Yes, its pretty nice. It is not a hammer/java/light sorc, but its still great

Barlog Spears are pretty slow, they have good average damage, but far from ideal. And amp is inzane dmg adds.

use a shield, max block and dr. you just have to loose the gold wrap and mf weapon.
