I've been told to only get GT claws for trapsin
But I've also been told that offhand doesn't matter for trapsin, so theoretically shouldn't I just get a good base for offhand?

What is the needed ias or whatever I need for trapsins.. I know about fcr and how to get there. Just unsure if ias is involved in trap laying speed too, or if the trap laying speed is strictly based off of claw type.. etc etc, kinda unsure about the whole thing.

Gt claw with 40ias base 2 skill 3ls 2os + extra mode like mind blast/claw block or fade off hand don’t need ias
102 fcr with Griffon socket with cham so cold dmg won’t slow you down from laying traps ideal jewl for main hand claw is 15ias/15res and fhr/res/rep life mana or close off hand claw fhr heels with rep life/res/mana
Amulet needs 17fcr minimum to hit 102fcr

So for a somewhat more cost effective build.. I'm probably looking for something similar to 2x 3 trap 3 ls 3os claws? Putting 3x 15 ias 15 all res jewels in the first claw for the ias breakpoint. Ofc the claws could be 2 sin/3 ls/3os or whatever, but prob the minimum I want is 3 trap/3LS/3os?

Got my fcr ammy and griffs already.. one fcr ring, need one more.

I think multiple griffs would be a good idea. Cham for vs druid, ber vs barb and phys dmg chars?

You need one gt with ias indeed preferably 2 assa 30 ias 3 ls with one ias jewel inside with resist

The offhand can be any normal dex str req claw with the best skills you can afford

Although I’m not sure if pure trapper is the way to go in d2r, which goes for pvp and pvm

Now to just find the right claws. Just getting back in to pvp though so re-learning necro and druid gives me proper time to find claws.

The bp with a gt is 42 ias ^^ the offhand doesn’t matter as long as the str dex req is ok, that’s what I’d aim for

Gt claws is the most common and only 79str & 79dex you can shop them at anya in act v best to still have the red portal open so faster to refresh the shop and don’t have to walk outside town or wp
