Unfortunately he says, amazon not buffed enough. :bonk:
Well the 200eias was balanced with exception of assassin.
7-9k bowa dmg or inzane hybrid in combi with 60-70% chance to be an "untouchable celestial" via none penaltying dodge is not^^
It was also a good change giving us loads of new builds. They could just keep between 150 and 199 eias cap for sin and it would be perfect.
And assa is still not balanced, cause now its underperforming big time.
The thing that has been making d2 the great game it was, was the genious way of handling stun and breakpoint via a frame by frame system, with ways of fighting the stun by use of active gameplay, and with little usage of cooldowns which are not a form of active gameplay.
To add we had desync which made the game even better, and made gear choice even more important.
Wsg was an active way of preventing stun and desync.
Wsg glitch allowed wierd builds to be viable such as throw barb.
All theese changes are game breaking either you call them glitches or not.
The current werewolf attack speed is a nice thing, but 200 eias was as well.
Bear got left in the dust due to nostalgy from d2 devs with dreams of an "unkillable" bear which hits strong every second moon ecplipse. Fun chars like bear sorc, bear ama, bearsin, and druid bear sucks so hard its better trying to melee people with normal attack in human form.
Fireclaw base damage got buffed into having the excact same end damage as before, at the cost of leaning on syntenergies to have a semi viable melee attack on firedruids. And then it got nerfed to the ground by making it 4-6 fpa slower. Its better to throw psn pots in enemies face..
The buff of throwbarb skills was a nice thing, but for pvp the lack of wsg skills makes it worse or same as d2lod.
There is a huge difference between 5 attacks per second without ghost glaive, and 6,25 attacks per second with 700 base dmg ghost glaive.
Maby its a buff, maby not. Im at least missing wsm bug both in early, mid and engame pvm and pvp.
The buff of blade skills on assa is nice, but its done the wrong way.
Step 1:
Would be to make the starting animation and stopping animation of bladefury and blade sentinell waaay faster. Now its so slow that u really cant combine it with anything, and in pvp the enemy already killed you or left the scene before u starts to attack, and the stopping animation is so slow people are already done with duelling other guys meanwhile.
Step 2:
Make it able to pierce(blade fury). Or Even add a few pierce% in the skill itself. The thing that it cannot pierce is mainly the reason that its not viable in pvm... 1 at a time...
U can easy reach 14k damage prior to ur 70-90% chance to deadly/critic/double damage with an easy runeword such as plague... On a strong 65fcr build with 30k+ ar. Still it aint viable for pvm cause to slow to combine with forexample death sentry, and for pvp the slow animation just makes u a sitting duck...
I made a build that has 10k bladeshield, 14-15k bladefury and 10k blade sentinell prior to my 94% chance to double damage... Instead of this inzane damage they should start with making the skill usable.
Impale buffs are nice and adds more builds and attacks.
The good thing about the op dodge is that jab/cs/melee skills of. Amazon is now more viable, but at the cost of making meta amazon builds inzanly op.
The billion of summons druid now can have made summon druid go up from a slow killer to a slightly faster killer, yet still pretty bad pvm'er, but made meta druids op in pvp , yet more boring cause summoning 10 pets prior to every engagement is boring.
Assassins lack of stun made them laughtable. Add the fact that wirl cant hit before frame 12 also made funny hybrids and ghost builds even worse.
Barbs got buffed war cry for pvm, for pvp it became rendered as useless due to lack or stuns, and they took away our fun to play pvp combinations, as well as ruining wirlwind.
So, maby they come to their sences and listen a little to the pvp community one day, but i dont think so... Cause they want to make more money, by selling us Immortal and d4, and then the first break d2 so people can search for new games.
Warzone is fucked up in many ways as well with snipers only killing at 24-50m range headshots, skillbased hitregs/dmg/enemy audio/random on and off with aim assists which is basicly the same as randomly double ur sensitivity midfights. And not to mention hacks.
Cs go is still nice, they focus on competetive gameplay, which is the only important thing.
Many guys think d2 is only for pvm, "d2 was made for pvm/d2 did not have pvp in the start"
Well d2 had pvp since d1... And without pvp, pvm'ers cant trade pvp equipment, and then the game dies out and we meet at a priv pvp server
