Enigma , shako with um , deaths fathom with dex/str/resist jewel storm with um, 1x soj, 1 fcr ring with life mana res, mage fists, 2 sorcy ammy with 14% + fcr life mana etc, hotspurs. Tgods

Str to use storm dex max block , rest vita ( mana burn can mean insta death on hc during tele)

ES is terrible for a hc sorc. One mana burn pack and you're toast before you can hit the esc button.

People say this, but I would 100% have died 5+ times without es on. Even the past week I switched from Insight to frenzy barb and have had very few issues. Even mana burned to 0, I have enough to teleport away what feels like .1 seconds later. Although this was after I got CTA. You need a nice chunk of hp and mana but in the end thats a huge safety net that is priceless in HC. With my build I stand front lines in chaos sanctuary full game without worry (merc lawbringer is unreal).

Can't live without my es...

I think people that don't recommend ES for hardcore, are people that play recklessly .. i.e. teleporting without care and hope they survive. For those of us that play normally, ES is a good insurance. Mana burn is an issue, but you don't have a habit of letting boss packs near you in any case. So in the extremely rare case where it would pose a threat, are ranged boss packs and where you are hit by stray projectiles.. and they have extra strong + might aura or something like that, in which 3-4 projectiles may kill you.

I should mention I've never put more than 1 point in it, +skills gives it +15 and its a nice cushion.

Did you try stormshield eld with max block? It works op imo
