Literally just jumped back into D2R a few weeks back after many years of hiatus and started a sorce. Is there a 'best' sorce is to MF on your own? Private games versus games of 7-8 people? I started a blizzard sorce but can easily respec as I don't have GG cold gear as of yet.

Also, where should I be MFing, Andy, Meph, Trav?

Pure blizz is the best sorc with low items. Meph and chaos sanctuary are the best spots. Meph is ultra easy and you can do it nude with the moat trick. In chaos sanctuary you need some items with resistances and a merc with a good weapon to kill inmunes, like reapers toll or obedience runeword.
