Im curious on a Question.
Whats the best way to make the Iron golem hard to kill. Dont get me wrong, i know its the worst of all golems but the only one wich can provide me an Aura so i would use a high lvl aura item to build him.
And obviously dont want him to die again.

Is it the better way to max golem masterys and the "Blood Golem" ( synergie 5% Hp per Lvl)
or is it better to max out the "Iron Golem" itself? + Golem Masterys.
Its built into an Overlord Summoner and i really need the third aura!

Iron golem stats are made at the begining of each game. So the best choice is to wear items that boost him before leaving a game, so he will be made strong at the next game. Equip all your +summon, +all skills items. If you have decent items and skillers with just one hard point in iron golem, iron mastery and summon resist he will never die.

You can go a bit over and use items like this:



But they are not needed.

also, life tapped ig can take a lot of any kind of dmg (melee, ranged, elemental etc).

Oh right. If you iron golem has life tap he can take A LOT of damage and die in 0.5 seconds. The way to avoid this is make him from a very LOW damage weapon.

Just dump remaining points into Golem Mastery and have a lot of plus skills. Have a lot of minions to make him not the center of attention either. If you're going a full inventoried char, your IG shouldn't really die unless you're doing something wrong or you jump into Ubers with it.

i had my latest Iron golem for 8 Months + and switched my Necros. ( cooler name ) xD
and i couldnt remember how to skill him properly.



that wand is super OP.
i use precast eq already. got lvl 53 i think the moment i enter the game.

Then it's already enough to not die (unless you die)
Just be carefull when doing chaos sanctuary, for example, where mages can use life tap curse on him. If he is cursed, go town and heal.
If you make the iron golem with low damage item this is somehow fixed:

What happens when IG is Life Tapped?

He takes like x20 damage and will die in half second.

But that doesn't make sense to me.

Attacker gets Healed 50% of Attack Damage is the only effect from Life Tap.

Or is it a bug only happens when Thorns aura + Life Tapped?
