Which do you think is better and why? Assuming budget isn’t an issue which would you play for faster mf’ing? Thanks.

high player count = lightning

that's a general answer. cl sorcs clear p1 about as fast as novas though.

Okay, good to know. Most games I’m in are 5-7 players. Sounds like I should choose lightning then at this point. Mostly for cows and chaos.

that's what i'd do. higher dmg output + kills safely from a distance. might wanna slap on a pair of silkweaves though, light sorcs are mana hungry in p4+ where you don't oneshot everything

Lightning bp 117fcr
Nova bp 105fcr

A fully geared lightning sorc is the fastest mfer, u can potentially reach higher mf on other biulds like a hammerdin but it will be much slower. Nova restricts alof of your gear as well and mf options since u have to be 200fcr. With lightning sorc there are 2 biulds i would recommend for pvm mf, both hit 117fcr, 60fhr, max res, 42k lightning damage and 2500+life after 6bo buff, and can clear p8 solo chaos in sub 1:30.

My favorite is the lower mf route (300mf biuld is in parentheses and will need an fhr/xx sc)

Helm- Highest griffs u can get - isted (everything will melt but 5/5 lite is fine here as well)

Ammy- 30 maras

Shield - 35fcr spirit

Main - 40 hoto ( isted occy for biuld 2 but will need more 11fr scs)

Switch -6bo cta cs and spirit

Ring 1 - soj

Ring 2 - soj

Armor - mageplate enigma

Gloves - upped magefist / can use 40mf chancies with biuld 1 as well but i prefer point to warmth and mana regen

Boots - 15str/xx/xx eth treks (50mf war travs for biuld 2)

Belt - arachnids

Inventory ( for biuld 1)

Tomb of identity (annoying for mf biuld to keep in belt which u need to do for biold 2)

5@/+life sc

11fr/+life scs (can go fr/mf or fr/frw) x3

2 life mana scs

Gheeds 40mf

20/20/xx anni

20/20 storch

5 lite lifers

Keep tps in a belt slot

This setup allows for 8 spaces in inventory and you can play wirh charms as long as u maintain max res. If you keep cube in inventory you will have more wiggle room with charms as well, U will have around 200mf (i believe my setup has around 160 without any mf sc and focusing on life and mana) and ive found this much much efficient than a hammerdin with 400 mf or a nova sorc.

Edit: for skills do not put points in any armors or es or t storm, u will be saving 2 points with enigma. dump everything after synergies into warmth to spam chain lightning.

also don't use hoto over cmoon on your light sorc unless you like doing trash dmg
