I am using a nova sorc with inifinty to mf and clear things and was wondering what the best gear setup would be for a good balance of dmg and mf? I currently use 3 pc tal set and 2 soj, spirit, hoto, shako, war travs which gives me 366mf with 3203-4218 dmg pre-buff and was wondering if there was different gear I could use to get more mf and more dmg? Maybe CoH or enigma? or some other stuff? Any ideas?

you don't need much more than 200-250 mf. going past 350 is just a waste.

you can use eni if you're okay with sacrificing double sojs for fcr rings, otherwise just go viper. use inventory to reach ~250 mf.

Doesn't it depend on how many players the game is? On pleayers 1 you can probably sacrifice dmg for mf to a larger extent than on p8.

One option I rarely see mentioned and was surprised at how good it was when I tried it was a 20 fcr 3 light skills circlet larzuk'd for 2 sockets with ptopaz or ists. Very comparable damage to griffon (you'll really only notice any difference on broken light immunes if at all), makes it easier to hit 40 ES and you only need a 15FCR amu to hit 105 if you're doing infinity on sorc, letting you keep your sojs.

More players in game holds more value than mf.

okay so right now i am mostly max res with echutas, coh, griffins, 2x soj, chance, arach, war travs and spirit. about 225mf, 120fcr (only need 105), and max res except fire which is 51% with about 5k nova dmg.

Can your 225MF NovaSor run worldstone keep smoothly? I mean Life Level sustain always at 85% and above. (Yes, Iam in HC)

souls (drains mana) in worldstone = dead nova sorc

Enigma over CoH for caster. Has decent mf at higher lvls, same DR%, and it's obviously less geared towards melee. Saves a crap load of stats to dump into eng instead of str, asuuming you're putting 40 pts into eng shield and telekinesis. you have infinity so you may as well try it. get a crap ton of mana sc's or skillers with mana on them. Customize your mods however you want on the charms.
