Curious what the consensus is -- is A1 merc with insight better than a2 merc for leveling (barb)? Particularly, I don't want to ensure the merc doesn't die as often.

I've read that it is inferior to the act 2. Deals less damage. May have some better survivability, but still vulnerable to being overrun. And you lose out on an aura.
