My first ladder character was a blade sin. here's how she currently looks:

fort for body armor
dragon shield for added fire damage

dream helm for added lightning damage


She can currently solo any level in the game on p1, but isn't a particularly fast killer.

I'm not sure which weapon would be best to focus on as a long term goal. weapon + shield seems more powerful than trying to do dual claw from the testing I've done.

Currently using a might merc fyi.


what do you think? i've sidelined her in favor of my phoenix strike / dragon tail build, but now that she's pretty much geared up I want to start focusing on the blade sin I started with.

Forget about venom, max death desentry.
Dream and dragon damage is shit ouside sorc and pala, do NOT use it.
Bartucs have low damage, try to get better rare claws or use other weapon.

I actually just tried out a strength claw with + 2 blade fury with good results. 75% crushing blow with it equipped. other than that gimmershred seems to do the best based on her current options.

Nah, strength is very weak. You need damage. Try death etting axe, for example.

I think Death will be my long term goal. I'll need to sell a few things before I can buy a gul + vex. Looks like it'll wreck for this build.

You can use several weapons, i find eth reapers toll very good. Or eth lacerator.

This will grant you 16k+ damage prior to loh adds!

Angelic contra hl is like 30-40% loss of damage on bf sin.

thanks for the link. which benefits does blade fury get from claw mastery?

Im a little uncertain if the ar% adds, but the ed for sure does.

I will do some testing next time I respec her. I'm debating between going all in on blade fury or respeccing to ww sin, since a lot of her gear would be ideal for a chaos build.
