I try A5 (DW) Merc right now. And it feels weaker as my A2 Merc before.

EQ:
A2: Andy (Ral), Eth Forti, Eth Treasher Insight
A5: Eth Headstriker (Shael), Eth Plague, Andy (Ral), Eth Forti

Is it weaker or did I anything wrong?

Act 2 will always be BIS in my opinion unless they make more changes. I just feel like A5 allows for different/lower cost options for other purposes that A2 may not offer (such as Lawbringer for A5 Key Farming, though Key Farming is so easy even with an A2 since you can literally just lure the monsters away and Telestomp Nihlathak after). Cleansing Aura does have its perks in Chaos Sanctuary, but if you're at the point where you're using Fort and Eth Insight, that is still better imo. Really hard to beat A2 Merc, unless your playstyle is different.

hi, i play foh pala and my base mana with bo is about 750 so i dont rly need insight when i also use redemption.
i have tried act5 merc with different setup.

so main hand - grief in PB second hand swap between: lawbringer / plague or even unbending will.

i saw a video in youtube where a guy has checked for several dmg setups and compared vs act 5. just the base merc without any buff from aura.

the eth headstriker x2 was best in class for act 5 dmg.

i am tired of playing the same style as before with act2 so i try someting new.

Ah thanks. Feels the same atm. After years A2 Merc, it more fun for me. But feels weaker as A2 Merc.
