I'm thinking about crafting Safety rings for my ES sorc which will be mainly PvM.

Recipe: Amn + PEmerald + Any Jewel + Magic Ring
Results:
+ (1-5) To Vitality
Magic Damage Reduced By (1-2)
Damage Reduced By (1-4)

So if the ring had everything I wanted, it could potentially roll this:
10% FCR
+90 Mana
+5 Vitality
+20 Strength
+40 life (or +9 replenish life)
MDR 2
DR 4

Thoughts? Or are there other better options for an ES sorc?

This remains the answer. 20/17 teleken/es with memory and you should have zero problems ever.

Soj > everything for ES sorc ...
but then again, ES in pvm isn't needed anyway, higher dmg = faster kill, and if u got 2k+ life (wich is easy even on a TAL sorc) u can tank enough even without block... unless u are stupid enough to teleport in lord de seis group to tank ... but then ES won't help u either ^^

I agree 100% a pair of sojs for me as well for a es sorc build.

dwarf stars > Soj for safety reasons...

use two perf dwarfs with string of ears belt and tals armor

get you a 2-3 socket 25 damage reduced helmet

put sol's in helmet and armor and shield

use stormshield with Sol rune and max dex to get 75% block rest into vit
