I just found the really cool video on the Assassin of Bui from the time of D2.

There he used a combination of Chaos in a Suwayyah and a rare claw with 40 % ias/ fools/ + some skills.

Now I watched his twitch stream for the last duels in d2r. There, he used Fury in Runic Talons as his second claw.


Because I don't want to fail to invest into suboptimal claws, I was wondering which is the better choice ?

Or is it even possible/better to use a combination like Chaos + Plague

Chaos suwayyah hits hardest. Gt on boot side for wsm

hey there, thanks for the answer.

I want to build the assa in D2R. And y I know of the WW issues ^^.

But I still want to play one. Even when it is not optimal.

i already sorted out that my offhand will be suwayyah with a chaos.

But my quests remains what base/ rune word combination is best for my main hand. Because as I found it, trap laying speed is now only affected by the speed of the main hand and not by the average of both claws.

Fury in a RT / Plague in a RT / RT with fools and 40 Ias.

Either ruinic or greater and make sure you have 45% ias with all together on main hand and equipment

WSM doesn't exist on D2R anymore. Plus the WW being busted and mb spam being nerfed to the ground due to stunlock/FHR breaks so WW-sins are pretty much ineffective as of now.
