Use a death fathom, will improve your damage a lot.

I always use this on a chaos sorc:

Viper
Shako or nw
Stormshield
String of ears
Df
2x dwarf (mdr helps a lot)
Some tri resist boots with psn resist alt least
Magefist
Mara’s

63 fcr maxblock 50% dr

Get some facets in gear and you should be able to tank everything easily

Static, more damage, just do inventor and vizer (I know you miss big D exp, still better than nothing)
