I want to complete whole game without buying/trading any stuff.

Iam in act 2 nightmare and i got the staff + amu, and iam lvl 40.

Should i move on to act 3 or should i go to norm and do some baal runs?

And does anyone have advice on what skills to max out first and gear?

Also, maybe some advice on what is most important to stay alive on hc, iam new on that front.

Put a point into werebear, lycanthropy, and shockwave

Max in this order

5ish points oak sage
Spirit wolf
Raven
Your point in shockwave, werebear, lycanthropy

After this point its up to you
Max dire wolves and sage first for more health
Max grizzly first for more damage

The bulk of your damage is going to be from merc and ravens with their disgusting 12% synergy so I went with dire wolf and oak sage first. Slow as shit but I have 3k hitpoints with the trashiest of gear.

Youre going to max them all eventually of course.

Also if you summon raven on a target itll summon all existing ravens to that target. Very helpful in areas like maggot lair and tombs act 2 for summoners.

Normal baals are only good up to level 40 IMO
After 40 it’s starts feeling like a grind.

You should do quest bugged diabloruns. Run through an act with one character, rejoin game with another, run through, take waypoints, level that character. Keep doing this until diablo. Do diablo quest with one character. Keep making diablo run games with that character, solo. Leave and rejoin with the other that hasn't done diablo quest, kill diablo. Now you get quest drops with that character. You can do this infinitely. Move on to qbugged baalruns when you need to level up.

The only thing Id add to this is to have an edge bow on swap with your druid because when your summons get decrepified by lord de seis you can waste them with thorns as they are usually extra strong extra fast with fanaticism.

I do the same on my garbage summon necs, made it through players 8 easy.
