played this game since original, but never really "competitive". I never owned an enigma, infinity, best so far was Fortitude, Call to Arms and Heart of the Oak. (Assa, Druid, Ama, Barb)

This very first season, despite playing this game for so long, was the first time to go with sorc. And, well what do i want to say, fast fcr teleports feel op and addictive.
I got some good key farming going on, my first torch was a sorc one, then found a tal armor and traded it for more budget stuff.

So right now i have a blizz mf sorc with 390% magic find (oculus, tarnhelm, skullders, spirit, aldurs boots, nagelrings, chancies, and some forum gold left in stash), who can confidently farm AT and cows in players 8, chaos is a bit dangerous because of the casters guys and de seis. (firewall as the second element attack was a mistake)
Honestly i get bored by the playstlye, and the prefered one (nova) is still an unreachable goal in terms of itemization, so i consider starting a new char from scratch and if i should sell all the sorc items to get the second char decked out. But i guess losing a character that can teleport before having an enigma feels like an mistake.

Should i simply farm with my sorc till i can make an enigma, then switch to a class that feels more fun for me? WW Barb? Selling my Sorc stuff and getting Grief? Strafe-Zon? or hold onto Sorc till infinity, and then its gg?

I don't know, most questions i probably can only answer myself, but it seems i reached a point where mindless farming is the go-to to further improve my grail towards enigma/infinity for more playstyle options, but somehow i have to find a char that is simply more fun for me to do it.

if your not having fun with that character, switch to a new one, games are supposed to be fun

if you want to wait a month, you will probably be able to get enigma and/or infinity with the fg you have now

If you need a new challenge, go over to hardcore. Especially if you are a genuine gamer like you seem to be, not someone that abuse everything to make money. It will feel much more rewarding and fun. You can't just use teleport mindlessly. Everything is more expensive, so you must use fg more wisely.

thank you both. I play too much alone, and a disconnect would probably kill my HC char every 2 days, but it sounds indeed more thrilling and rewarding. On the other hand i like to experiment with risky builds or pvp in the future. i wouldn't mind losing a hc char by stupidity, but disconnection and char loss would break me like the unreal tournament guy.
