Can you still rush act 2 by standing in town while rusher and bumper kill duriel?

as long as you are somewhere in act 2 when an ally finishes the quest by talking to duriel in a game made by someone without the quest finished. Doesnt matter if you didnt finish the other quests. Doesnt matter if duriel was killed with no questers present.

Can do the same thing as in a2, stay afk while someone completes the quest who hasn’t done it yet

But there’s no way to bypass it
