Im making bare coin running hell travs and want to dabble in gambling. Few questions below and any other advice would be cool, ty

- Do I need to be a certain level to get the best mods?
- What item am I best gambling for to translate into JSP fgs?

Rings, circlets and amulets.

Level 95 for rings? Why?
You can be mid-70s and get gfg rings afaik

Here's a rough breakdown:

Level 87 for Coronets (+2 skills, and you can also get 3-socket blues)
Level 92 for Circlets (+2 skills, but they can NEVER give 3-socket blues)

Amulets at 93 is the sweet spot for crafting, since gambling + crafting with a level 93 character will give you access to the best mods.
If you only gamble & don't craft, Amulets are best done at level 95+

Rings as far as I know can be rolled well even at 74+

u can also make a lvl 42 char and gamble circlets for LLD

or any char 70+ gamble cestus for LLD hand scythes and also greater talons for HLD claws.

gambling has never been a main source of finding quality rare items or uniques, you will learn its the most inefficient way to use your time. but gambling does have its uses

you could have edge bow on switch + gheeds for 30% vendor price reduction

so how do you effectively use gambling? gold in d2 is worthless, you can steal it from players to piss them off or repair gear or gamble thats it. what most people do is during mfing they switch to there secondary weapons slot with edge and gamble down from a few million gold to 300k or 500k gold reserve.

gambling does allow you to find amulets and rings of correct ilvl for crafting and allows you to target specific item types like diadems but its simply a place to waste money. i have gotten sojs from gambling and crowns of ages and griffons it does happen. if your goal is to make high quality rare diadems then try 6 pskulls + rare diadem and cube it or

1 Perfect Skull + 1 Rare Item + Stone of Jordan = 1 High Quality New Rare Item of the same type
This formula has the possibility of creating a higher quality Rare Item than the following formula. ilvl = int(.66 * clvl) + int(.66 * ilvl) That is, the ilvl will be equal to .66 times your clvl (rounded down) plus .66 times the input item's ilvl (also rounded down).

diadems make the most profit
2 skill / 20 fcr / 2 sockets / life / mana str dex

since you are gambling use one of those amulets and make caster crafts they return high profit
2 skill 20 fcr life mana str res mana regen

or blood rings
fcr life(up to 60 life) mana leach

if your goal is just making profit then consider rerolling ilvl 99 gcs in the hopes of making skiller/45 vita gcs

you shoot for the moon and land in the stars XD last ladder i only rolled 5 45 vita gcs and they were random shit like passive and magic and druid summoning but i did get a pcomb and a cold gc and java gc

you will get a ton of skillers less skillers in hp 20-35 range very few above that, 45 vita + skillers are exceptionally rare and return high profit from rolling pgems found during chaos runs
