it is solo or low ppl games build oriented to mf and rushes in hardcore mode

what are our goals?
max traps laying speed in fade condition
50% damage reduce
max block
good protection against souls
stacked light/fire res against conviction
6 kicks for good proc'ability
static ctc + decent crushing blow
great crowd control
65fcr on bo side
infinite mana for tele and trap casting

what are our weak sides?
not best possible traps damage
since we will not be using claw/claw setup and infinity on merc
our main skills are kick and death sentry (not lightning)

*why andy cham and not raven ring for cnbf mode?
raven will shatter some corpses

*why hl if deadly strike does not work with kicks?
first of all we need ias; 1skill and light res are nice bonuses

*why gores and not toes or dancers?
i personally think gores are golden mean
since they provide top kick dmg like dancers and have cb mod at the same time
little bit higher cb of toes is irrelevant since we have good cb weapon like lash already

*why not forty?
it shatter corpses too

*no venom, shadow and blade shield?
yes it is a waste of time in my opinion

A couple newbie questions:

-Is there any comparable alternative to stormlash?
-You don't use Ravenfrost so that there are corpses for death sentry, correct?
-Does dragon talon need AR?
-What is mind blast for?

1) yes there are few "good" alternatives to lash like beast, lawbringer, azure, crescent moon, fleshripper, lacerator, wizzy, lastwish, ... but you will probably need to rebalance this build

2) absolutely

3) yes, and misses are not even that big problem, because you are landing many kicks each second

4) instant crowd control against dolls, bulls, bosses & champions in general just in case
ofc you can skip it if you dont like it, but i like it so much personally

it was designed for serious monitors not for tamagotchi

I'd recommend:

Arachnid Mesh > Tgods (Unless you're only running Baals)

Which frees up gloves:

Trang-Oul's Claws > Crafted Blood Gloves (+2 Martial Arts / 20 IAS / 10 CB / 15 Strength / 15 Dexterity / 3% Life Stolen Per Hit / 20 Life) - don't accept anything less than this exact pair ofc.

Which frees up amulet:

I noticed you went with an Insight Merc which is great but of course we also love that sexy conviction aura so Amulet = Metalgrid. Get a stash full of Infinity's and use one per game to make a golem. +100 Style Points.

Cool ty for the info. I've only ever made pure trappers so I'm interested in giving this a shot!

I will probably just do a budget version tho just to get a feel for the build (no enigma, cham).

"why not forty on merc" i mean, not on assa
merc must use treachery, and assa must use eni - its mandatory because she cant be "flying sin" with no tele

2/15/15 gloves are not that noticeable in term of kick's straight damage

so your suggestion basically is:

to lose protection against souls
to spend 1k fg on very questionable gloves

by the way if you need conva and dont need infinite mana - just ditch insi and be happy

Except souls are pretty much just in throne so unless you're running that the majority of the time, you wouldn't devote a whole item slot to it - plus Stormlash already comes with some lightning absorb.

2MA gives more attack rating and 10% CB isn't nothing. +Stats = more life. Better than Trang even if it isn't a huge upgrade.

Most importantly though - don't skip out on Infinity Golems. They're super sexy.

this is "all game mfing/rushing" char, not "absolutely effective 24/7 cs bot"

although i agree that arach and such gloves might be useful in some aspects of the game

but, still it is not worth it due to extreme rarity and cost


just trangs for pvm or dracs for ubers... enough...
