I would like to hear your thoughts on what you think the best Mf% is and why.

It's not about having the most MF you can get on your character, you have to factor in killing speed. A person with 600 MF vs a person with 300 MF for example. The person with 300 will have a better outcome long term due to his/her killing speed. A quicker run vs a long time in 1 makes the difference. THE difference.

I'd recommend 375 - 400.

@ 400 you get to single digit increase on your % to find your goodies you are after.

I don't think i'll be able to get that high. I'm at 260% right now and really struggled to get that high.

My experience from 300+ travincal runs with goldfind barb this season, about 400% mf: You get a lot more magics, but the uniques you do get, tend to be of higher quality. I found Kira's guardian yesterday, and have found a few other high level uniques, Wolfhowl and such. If i hadn't had that amount of mf%, i think i would have just found lower quality uniques. Everything is pushed upwards. So the more the merrier, but you still have to be patient.

Depends if you want a lot of uniques or if you're farming for rares. You also need to not sacrifice killing speed as D_urRRR said and Taurean is wrong, mf doesn't change the type of item that drops

More MF does not mean that the uniques you get will be of a higher quality and that is fact.
