So I have tried summ necro, poison necro, java, light sorc, trapsin, windy dru and still rolling my hammerdin.
I swap my pala gear between all (java and psn nec have their own) to see if anyone can match his p1/p8 damage. All builds have 8x main skill skiller in inventory.
To be honest - nothing, but java comes close to hammer. Only java with infinity is better in a few places (close corridors and bosses). Rest is just meh. Furthermore - merc dies you have to go back.
Is there any other viable build left for me to try before i come back to grinding with hammer?

shocked you don't find light sorc nearly as fast as hdin...

but overall, hdin is the fastest mfer

java is faster and clumsier at most stuff, you have less ability to sacrifice gear for inventory space, mf, etc, you need to build it with very expensive items before it starts working at all and has a harder time building tanky, requiring more expensive charms, you need to manage prohibitive stack size and mana pool, you're reliant on teleporting your merc into range and keeping him alive like you say, you can sometimes get hung up on unbreakable immune bosses like lightning enchanted chaos seals, and decrepify gimps you.
but when javas jump through all the hoops and are built right and running smoothly, they put hammerdins to shame with how much faster they are. wiping everything onscreen in 1 click in 8 player games and killing bosses instantly

in baal runs at least theres no kill speed difference since you can pre-lay hammerfield and have to wait between spawns, and all those factors plus aiming and spacing playstyle make javas useless for botting

I guess it's due to her lvl being 80. She will shine in 10 levels. Or maybe i just lowrolled her CLs.

Hammerdins are convenient, sure. But both light sorcs and blizz sorcs make higher damage. You have to workaround some problems tho, being elemental dmg dealer. Sorc also has faster fcr frames. I bet ur lvl80 lightsorc is measly optimized compared to ur hampaö.

Javazon does indeed out damage anything in the game, especially vs bosses. Boom. But they got the fcr bp of a toaster and has other utility issues. In teamplay where someone else teles shes incomparable.

So ya u cant say this is the best. Thats whats so nice. It all depends.

Fyi i hold barb zerk and taunt howler to be the fastest chaosrunner in 8p cbaals. Shares sorc fcr bp, 1 hit dmg through the roof, trashmobs taunted to oblivion.

my light soso lacks lvl, - enemy res on her and fcr (she has ~+18 skills and 125fcr from pala). also she dies 10 times easier than him - thats why i dislike her
don't you waste a lot of precious mobs when you rush CS? I guess it only kills monster nearby you when you hit last seal and you lose drops from other 2 rooms . and xp.

depends what your aim is, ofcourse. I dont play a cs barb this ladder. but if you're after exp, and not loot, focusing sealboss -> dia is the way to go. At lvl 95+ basically dia and baal gives majority of your exp. at 97+ all your exp.
if you're generally mfing/pveing, you might want to clear some/all uniques. never full clear imo, better to make faster runs with good kills only for best loot/efficiecy

even a mediocre early ladder pvp build with no ias and low fcr still lets a javazon poop all over zerk barbs. I didn't even have a spirit monarch for this;

in the time it takes howl to scatter monsters and move out of the way to let you teleport on top of the guy you're trying to click to zerk, the java could have already killed everything onscreen

1.05 dia. Bro my blizz sorc is faster/as fast then that in p7. She is a good option, as i said. Clears more mobs faster. But to just pop dia for dia kill, she aint the fastest. Thats my experience anyway. Zons fcr breaks gimp her...

Java is good for mass killing, no debate, but if you want to know if it can clear Chaos faster than a Chaos Barb, the barb would, even the clip you provided shows how the barb would telestomp in, just like the java. Before you debate this, think on it first, by the time the java tele's to first seal, the barb has already done it and doing the next seal.
