Hi,
I am currently running a lvl 87 summon necromancer which has maxed SMastery, Summon Skelleton, SKMage and Revive (CE too).

It works pretty good with my gear (Shako, Eni, Beast, Homu, 2xBk3, Arach, Marrow, Trang gloves)

My merc runs

Forty eth bugged
Insight (looking forward infy / pride / doom)

My question is that if it is worthy to equip my merc with a Bramble runeword or if I should just leave him with forty. I don´t know if the thorns aura work well in hell / ubers.

Short answer : leave Bramble away.

There's no need for Andariel's Visage on a necromancer's mercenary.
As to your question, Bramble is long since irrelevant on all mercenaries.

Thorns is worthless in hell. Also, unless you made a beast IG, treachery > forti but that's a different story. And as Lightman says, no need life steal, you have life tap.

Insight's a decent weapon choice if you use prayer....but here I'd make sure it's in a thresher with treach and andys ias jeweled (for the 20 base ias)

Infinity merc would be your best bet for your skelly army, and help your CE damage against non fire immunes. Pride would be a joke, and doom would increase the chance of shattering corpses....so no CE.

Treachery > fort unless you have a beast IG. Guillames is a great helm...just check the attack speed calc to see if ias jewel will improve his jab rate.

I have beast on my hand, cuz I am not so wealthy to create an Iron Golem from such a RW.
However, I do not see the point in treachery (probably cuz I´ve not played enough), but as I see it Fortitude is better than it, giving more defense, and more raw attack, apart from the resistances. Any clue on this?

tl;dr version

Level 15 fade = 60 all resist AND 15% damage reduction
It also has 30 cold res
20 FHR
And most importantly, 45% ias....more attacks more dps more procs more cb's etc.

Forti is only better in few situations, like if you have a source of fanaticism.

Understood, I´ll stick to it then for now, cuz even though I got over 50 minions around me he keeps on dying every now and then, specially against uber diablo at tristam.
