Hit 2x as often cause 2 weapons ~= 20k
25K average 45K max > 20K avg and 22K max.
assuming niether of us miss. A long whirl hits 4fpa on some of the breakpoints with Botd tm, and 6 on the others. So your not hitting twice as often for the full whirl either.
live longer = hc.
2500-3K life is all you need on nice barb. Anything else is excessive. This isnt pvp. You just dont take much damage in pvm, and a good barb can leach and use some of the support skills to keep him perfectly safe.
we're talking 550% damage, its like adding another fort. Or having a fort like damage while using enigma.

Theres a handy little mod on there called Ignore Target's Defense which means DPS and DPWW is much, much higher for 2x Grief
I know the numbers on each, I understand that technically grief should be better (and it normally is), but it just isnt because of the limited amount of life monsters have. The botd reaches a point that you exceed the damage threshold that equates to generally 1 hitting monsters. Given that ww is a moving attack, and we're talking range 2 or 3 between us , those extra hitchecks for the second hand often dont apply due to being out of range. When this happens your 10K is less then half my 25 on a hit to hit basis.

More than 3k life is a waste... Get more str = more damage.

when your ww hits over 8k minimum and you have over 12% leach and massive howl, you regain at least 500hp every 6 frames. you almost never get hit and if you do it's by an elemental (which is easy to absorb)
don't believe me? ask Master_Zappy who has played this on hc.
get good, bob
Its the 550% ed that pushes you past the point of 1 whirlwind KO's. Your looking at around 25K average damage per hit.
The damage is so freaking high, you only need to usually whirlwind once and its dead. Sure avg damage over time is cool and all, but remember that monsters have finite life, and with titan mode on the ThunderMaul of pain, it reaches a point that it instagibs fodder monsters in small and medium sized games. You still have ~70% ds and 50% cb + decrep.
