Trying to keep it short, because i know, that people donīt really like reading trough xxx pages First as allways the stats:Str: none
Dex: enough to have max block with storm ( even if your using berserk you still got block
)
Vita: Here the rest goes
Ene: none
Sec. the skills:20 berserk
20 mastery ( will clear this later)
20 shout
20 battle orders
1 battle command / increased stamina / increased speed / iron skin / natural ressis
Rest in Howl ( Bonni from berserk )
This will be maxed @ lvl 97 , which aint a problem for a pvmīler i think
Third the items:I m trying to get some reasons for the items but i wonīt explain it in all details.
First slot ( Fight slot )- Helm : Arreatz, no question - 40ed, 9dex jool soxed ( other optiones: Sox with sheal / 7fhr, 40ed jool)
( If you go for the 48 fhr cap you need to get 18fhr added to the 30 from arreatz ,
imo you donīt really need it , but its still useful, your choice - else save stats and get dex/ed jool )
- Armor : Enigma, in mp - so you donīt got to put anything in str -
or if you go for style get one in Ancient armor, which got 5absorb itself, its gonna be bugged
then.
- Wheapon : grief pb ( no dura , in ba e.g. it would get broken. ) - you need ~42 ias for the 9 fpa frame with berserk, so
ias on grief donīt matter ( see gloves ) - if you go for grief you skill sword mastery.
- Belt : Arach to get 105 fc cap on switch
- Shield : Storm (max block) - sox with ressis jool if you need any - else see above @ arreatz.
( storm is gonna be bugged till level 93 if i remember right - then the str from eni will be enough to carry it,
storm itself gives 30 str so you can put it on and it carries itself till your 93 )
- Gloves : Laying on hands - Set gloves 20 ias ( needed to get the 42 ias ) 350 dmg to demons ( venom lords ) and nice fire ress -
no question
- Boots : can get hotspurs if you like more fire ress, i prefer WWs with 65 life and 15dex which saves lots of statpoints)
- Rings : 1. 1x raven get huge ar/ 20 dex one ( saves stats and ar is needed badly )
2. 1x 10fc ring , which requires : 1xx Ar , huge mana - nice adds = ressis, lf , dex - as allways )
- Amu : you can get highlords vor light ress and ds - i use serfains, which gives dmg bonus and 2 skills , imo best choice )
-> If you use Highlords amu and Hotspurs you donīt need any ressis jool in storm/arreatz.
Secound Slot ( teleslot )Here should be,
1x hoto and 35 fc spirit with nice mana ( to get the 105 fc cap ) - you will loose 1 bo lvl by not using 2 hotos,
but you wonīt have mana probs by getting in cs, getting block, while tele and you will still have same amount of life, since spirit gives 22vita.
Inventar:ofc
anni / torch - get the best once posssible
then:its up to you if you can afford or not
3/xx/20 scs
wc skiller with life or clean
should fill the rest.
The 3 max ar life scs are nice, coz they boost your ar and dmg
i atm play with wcīs life , which aint a problem.
you should aim for ~15k ar on fight slot to hit constantly..
There would be one other possibility to set -up.
You could use Botd ba instead of grief pb , which displays lots more dmg , but does less.
You got to skill axe mastery then and you need 135 ias on gear to reach the 9 fpa frame with berserk.
Its a bit saver, but takes longer and aint that funny as the build above.
Merc:Its up to you..
1. get an act 1 faith merc
item options: 1. ( faith blade bow , eth coh , 3sox diadem with XX Life - sox with 2x 15ias/15@ ( see above) and 1x ber
This is the best option, coz you gain 35 more ressis against the following options 1/2. Additionally, coz of the Ber rune you got more dred than with Option 1.
2. ( faith blade bow , eth coh , andys with 15ias/30fire ress ( to get max ias frame on merc with blade bow)
3. ( faith blade bow , enigma (any) , coa 2 sox with 2x 15ias/15@ jools ( to get max ias frame on merc with blade bow)
-> this got an advantage if you get cursed ( holy freeze/decrepfiy , coz the fana from faith gives you 31- 33 ias(depends on fana lvl) which leadz to 84 ias on gear.
These are needed to keep the max ias frame while cursed. Additionaly it gives ~100 more dmg and a little ar boost.
2. get an normal cs merc ( act3 cold - lawbringer rw, storm , kiaras , guardian angle)
-> much cheaper
Well.. how to play this barb
You tele with teleslot up in cs, ofc you make sure you got bo
, then you open the seals,
take Howl now and make all the monsters run away, the boss will stay. Now you switch on fight slot
and kill the boss. Then go for the next seal.
This barb wonīt own that much in Thron of Destruction but its funny as hell to cs with him.
