Go with more points in 4th synergy (maxing at 20 on 4 skills) or putting 5-10 points in critical strike and pierce?!?!

had an argument with a friend that critical strike as well as pierce only need 1 point in them total rather than spending extra points on gaining more critical strike and pierce, they think that more points in synergies = more dmg.

I have found out that, the thought is in fact wrong, and the synergies do not give as much dmg as if you were to add say 5base in pierce and 5 base in critical strike adding to your chance to pierce and critical strike. The math on a low titans is probably not really worth it, but when you get a decent %ED titans(especially upped ETH titans) and you pair that with the extra points in pierce and critical strike, you actually gain way more base physical damage and the lightning dmg essentially is doing a ton of elemental dmg but it also has it's own chance to max each time doing way more minimum dmg, all the while, doing way more dmg in general because your critical strike is doubling your physical dmg. Along with piercing doubling the attack and splitting the Fury.

Charged strike and Fury both have a super high Lightning damage both from split bolts and the split charged bolts.

Has anyone done the actual math on this?!

you have max pierce with razortail and 1 hard point. more points are useless

you have no real physical damage output with or without shitloads of crit, with or without a gozu ed eth upg titans. you could pump dex and your physical dmg would barely tickle hell minions

you need to hit to pierce and leech anyway. How much AR do you have ? Like 1000 ? 2000 ? You ain't gonna hit shit with that.
You can get okayish ml with an upped eth titans, but only against demons/animals. So you might as well not have that much leech anyway, not really, kinda.
