Hi everyone! Hope the new ladder reset has been refreshing for all! It's been almost a decade since I touched d2r; can't remember last time I was this excited about a d2r ladder reset!

I have a question about BvC barb as this will be the first time i'm aiming for a PvP build. I tend to make a BvC barb that wields 2 Zeihanders. Something about wielding 2 2handers got me giddy.

I can't seem to find a guide though that specifically is geared towards the Zeihanders. Majority is PB's. Can anyone link me to a guide that has 2 Zeihander set up? I am a complete noob to PvP and barbs tbh so any direction would be much appreciated!

Tbh I don't even know anything about BvC so your statement kind of got me lost

I assume I search up any BvC build (the ones I see with PB grief and beast) And just use zeiwehander? Any skill changes? Sorry... complete noob here :/

With bvc you get ias from beast, without beast you need ias on gear. The calculator has all the options. Some stat ias to combat target slow aswell.

Also I think duel war spikes would do more damage than a zeiw and even zerkers.

Just don’t copy everyone else, they always die to randoms not even on their ladders.

Appears Zweihander is range 2 and so is warspike and it has the same ias bps.

Maybe I’m wrong about range but if not I’m not sure why anyone never learned this as waterspike has way better 1 hand damage.

I think phaseblades are ideal since weapon speed -30 while zweilhander is -10 so it takes 20 more ias for break points. I'm not sure about the ranges and how they differ

Phase blades are for Pvm because they can’t break.

Warspike is even better on a smiter aswell, meaning in 20 years no one learned this but me.

I understand 90% are gonna say phase blade. And I might bend that way... but... Zeiwhander or Colossus blade look WAY TO SICK dual weilding. leaning towards Zeiwhander for potential 7 more durability i think?

Just to clear this up. If I go Zeiwhander, no matter my ias roles on grief, I need to get 20% more on other items? Do I have to calculate or do any math with my off hander Zeiwhander of collosus blade for ias too?
