long story short

classic ladder always had a higher level then expansion ladder at start of the season basically just because we can skip act 5 and go straight to hell act 4

what you want to do is simply

make a classic non-lod character and do the walk through on classic as you normally would but now you dont have to do any of the act 5 stuff in normal and nightmare and you progress through the walk though much faster

once you get to hell act 4 either chaos alittle bit for some levels or go and convert so you can go kill baal in a5

during that whole process you wont have any expansion items, but you can simply just buy them while you are leveling off jsp

People already do this and have done this for years.

yeah but its just not like it use to be and hasnt been like it use to be for years

classic use to always win the race to level 85 or so... classic would be level 85 while expansion would be a lower level its never like that anymore

now days we 70 and they are 90 the shits embaressing
