Haven’t played in 20 years nothing good to ladder now? Looks like everything can be made non ladder now? And drops?

use a token only to still die on your melee sorc?

I see no real use in that. For PvE. Even with the enchant, there a far better and more broken options for mf or killspeed than a melee sorc. Also wasting a token each run is quite a bet - even in extended runs there is no guarantee, to get the value of the used token back.

In PvP, 1v1 about ANYTHING will still beat that melee sorc easily. Also hard to catch people "offguard" as most will be prepared for the harder matchup vs a "real sorc" and will act quickly enough. In a 4v4 team duel - well you could go enchant your team, use token, then rebuild to a nova or smth.. not allowed, easy to detect and therefore also no option.



Welcome back Also done my first ladder now, after 15y break. There are many new runewords in the game now, and many of those are now ladder only, such as flickering flame and mosaic for example. About the drops, not sure myself, but I think there is still an advantage on ladder.
