Hi it is generally known that self wield infinity (105 fcr) is strongest, because -to enemy lightning res. So if I have in nova 38 skills it shows me 3666-4798 damage. I was checking it on maxroll character planner and it says to me that with self wield infinity it is 7332–9598 and 26453 damage per second. Is there included -to enemy lightning res from infinity or not?

To comparision with 200 fcr nova sorc with eschuta etc. It is 41 skills in nova with 4402-5719 (damage 8804–11,438 and damage per second 36146)

Your problem is maxroll

It’s littered with bad info.

So is the character screen in d2. As you can do more actual damage when comparing 1 set to another, but it does less damage on character screen compared to the other.

Actual damage is a function of your skill damage and your enemies resistance amount to your skill type.

As an example, if your lightning skill does 100 damage and your opponent has 80% lightning resist, you will do 20 damage

If your lightning skill does 80 damage and your opponent has 60% lightning resist, you will do 32 damage.

32 > 20

Then that damage is multiplied by how many times you can cast your skill per second. That will give you your “dps”.

So the actual damage from self wield infinity is higher because -to enemy lightning res. Am I right?
