Hi all! New to trap sin and dueling in general.

I had a GT with 2sin/3LS/2os and I socketed with 2x15ias/13all res jewels.

Are they toast? I didn’t realize they needed base ias on claw to hit certain BPs.

I’m also not quite sure on how Main vs Offhand mechanic works.

I dont see anything wrong with that.

well that was an off-hand claw without ias
now, with 30ias on it you are a 30 out of 42 ias needed for trap laying speed, so you could socket griff with another 15ias jewel I guess

What people normally want is a 40ias GT for main hand, then adding 2x 15ias jewels is making you reach 70ias which is enough to counter the 10% slow from arach.
Playing with 45 ias is also possible, but you'll lose 1 frame per trap whenever you are hit by someone with arach, and this slow lasts for 30s.

You can still make it work but you will have to go down to 65fcr instead of 102 use gloves with 20ias to reach the 42ias bp

Ok, got new claws. Kept old ones with jewels in them for now but am thinking of clearing sockets.

warfist is a slow claw u want gt or runic but will require higher dex
