For ladder start im looking to do immortal sorc FROZEN ORB as a starter i have read and search the subject most i find is about PVP i want to play HARDCORE LADDER so no pvp in mind for me i did check video of cooley and phil on youtube but i still want more info i might skip...

Frostburn . soj , soj look like a core
Death fanthom + nightwing veil for dmg
gladiator bane + gerke's sanctuary for DR/MR (add mal or sol)
Memmory in swap for the + 9 es to reach 95%

is crafted safety amy a possible option?
Absorb would be good? like tgod, dwarf, raven, wisp , what about String of Ears or verdungo ?
i heard about a 3 piece tal set variant is this something playable ?

Do max block a must? is it really better then going full mana for more mana regen?
do i absolutly need to get perfect DR/MR on item? is it a must to find amy with it

Cold sunder + cold mastery ? do i should max cold mastery or synergies maybe i should put X cold mastery and the rest into synergies?

DO anyone did some test with those build to see what is a good way to play it

Magefist is better

i used to have a true immortal sorc back in old d2, the way to do a real immortal is to go for max telekinesis, 95% energy shield and the last 5% gets handled by flat damage and magic damage reduction. Otherwise its full mana and regen, frosties are definitely better than magefist if you go for that. I had bmanas at the time and i forgot exactly how much mana i had but it was over 12k
