I have a cool FOH Paladin build for D2R Classic. I’m playing on P8, and it’s doing really well, plus it’s very cheap.

1 salvation.

This Paladin is level 86 and very strong. You can still invest in+1 redemption, so you’ll need level 91, which is easily achievable

Resistances in this build don’t really matter, because you will be running with the Salvation aura

This Paladin has max resistances.

95% fire
85 %light
75% cold

If someone found some GG resist items for the amulet, shield, gloves, or belt, you could even consider running with the Lightning Resist aura.

With BO from a Barbarian, this Paladin will have 2.5k+ life and 6k defense and And powerful damage from Fist of the Heavens, which will be level 31, with its Holy Bolt synergy also at level 31

2.4kdmg Which really gets the job done — even on P8

How do you play this kind of Paladin? Personally, I use Charge for moving around, and the Conversion skill is very useful for gathering mobs into a group. Then I just spam FoH, and after killing everything I use Redemption. Simple, fast, and very easy.

i have done a guide for FoH on classic too, and my build dont use 2 sojs, they are expensive specially early season ladder and also HCCL a single soj cost 3k fg early ladder and now mid-end season soj still 1,200fg average.
so my build goes with more cheap gear than yours and fit all resistances on 75 all 4 resistances and life on paladin is 4,000.

my games are 2 minutes 40 seconds average, and my time inside chaos sanctuary is 1 minute and 10 seconds something like that, then i have to wait for diablo spawn, here link of my guide also inside that link there is the youtube video for it: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=105824663&f=148

also, since we use + skill items, there is no need to increase holy shield points for FoH since spread all whole screen holy bolts, u just have to hit from distance, differently tham hammer that range is small so u need get inside the pack of demons to be more effective thats why hammer increase holy shield, i dont think we need holy shield points for foh build
