So i thought, after reading the thread in d2 discussion forum. Even if there are no more actively soj selling teams. We can still have one thread going, if there are people playing a lot, and you want to start a coordinated effort in a new ladder season to make say, one attempt to spawn diablo clone, then one can use this thread to communicate about that.
Let's say there are 50 people playing one realm, and everyone coordinates their efforts to only quest bug run nightmare andariel for the highest chance to get sojs. Over 1-2 months of concentrated effort, this is not impossible. As everyone knows, there is a range of 75-125 sojs needing to be sold in order to spawn diablo clone. So getting this to pay off, will require a lot of coordination and effort - but work is fun, right?
I am doing a little recap here of the method on how to check what ip your character is on, for this purpose, i googled an old thread, and copy some text from that here:

"To search just follow these steps:
1) Create a game (always remember to password it so nobody steals your Anni)
2) Go to the start menu, click on run, and type in "cmd" and then press run
3) A black command box window should come up
4) Type in the following: netstat – n
5) You will get a list of a whole bunch of numbers; each one is a different IP address.
6) Look for the one that ends in .4000, that’s the Diablo one. It will look something like xx.xxx.xxx.xx.400 (the x’s are random numbers)
7) Look for the IP, it will be the 2 (or 3) numbers directly to the left of the .4000, so if you get something that looks like xx.xxx.xxx.86.4000, where the x’s are all different numbers, this means you are on server .86
8) Keep creating games and typing in netstat –n until you find a game that is on the IP you want.
9) If you make more than 3 games a minute, you will get a temporary IP ban, and you wont be able to connect to Battle net for 10 minutes."
It would be fun to see if there are enough people willing, either if you bot or not, to make it happen during one season.
Type your realm and difficulty when communicating. I am EUHCL. Ladder is ofc a given, but i write it all the same.
Haven't decided yet whether i will be hunting like that, but it would be a fun idea. Also, i have a personal deal with this, because i have NEVER .. during the last 20 years of playing, except for maybe once during the beginning, i can't remember clearly - found 1 single stone of jordan. I just don't understand why it is so elusive ^^ I must have found hundreds of unique rings during my time .... but not one single one of them has been a soj. It would be cool the completely break that curse and focus mainly on this one task, for one season.
