What would the best items be for this build?

Mainly for pvm,

105fcr is the only way
any build can reach high dmg, but what you need is a way to kill fire immunes fast, everything else will melt instantly in all cases

30/-30 weapon (6 fire facets)
Phoenix mon (-28% fire and redemption aura to fix your sustain)
Viper facet
arach
magefist
3fire/20fcr magic circ with 2os (2x facets)
2 soj
2sorc/15fcr amy
fire sunder
FF on merc, to fix your fire res, with infinity ofc, and CoH to give him survivability from leech, stacked res and dr%

You could build a cheap version of this using Hoto
It would be easier to assemble
But it's definitely not as good
3 piece tal is also another popular cheap option

For PvP it's completely different
-res is useless
+skills and tankyness is much more relevant
200fcr is also quite good for pvp

But pvp sorc having a single elemental dmg makes them the worst class to play in random pub games, where people can just stack absorb and max res and laugh of your dmg.
So if you chose to pvp, it's most likely gonna be in a league with rulesets, or SvS only
But the builds are very different pvp vs pvm

Its ok
You lose 20fcr
So you swap 2 soj for fcr ring
Losing 2 skills and +10% fire dmg (not much as it’s added to fire mastery) but you gain 5 fire pen

2fcr rings can be more expensive than 2soj
Depends on what you buy, but on average you won’t even save money
That’s why I prefer to post the 3/20 circ option
But FF is absolutely valid too

do you think i should put 1 point into hydra?

also i got the hoto, and vmagi, maybe i should use a differnt armor?

yes. hydra is great for act bosses

hoto sucks, always use 6x -5/+X rbf weapon

viper is great, always use it. put an rbf in it

and yeah flickering flame + any fcr rings perform as well as 3/20/2os + sojs while costing way less
