Does character lvl and game difficulty matter in gambling?

Also, if i'm gambling for a specific character type item, should i use such a character to gamble said item with?

no, only clvl, not difficulty lvl
ilvl is always randomized from -5 to +4 your clvl
and no, you won’t see more class-type items, just refresh the trade screen, it’s rng
