I dont see anyone suggesting 6x light facer in cs/pb for trapsin or light sorc?

Cuz cmoon is cheaper and better

Having an extra 5% pen is much more effective than getting +30%.
+30% is only around 2-4% bonus dmg depending on your build.
While -5 can be a lot, depending on the monster’s res…
You mostly want to optimize vs immunes as you already kill non-immunes easily.
95-30=65 (35% dmg dealt)
95-35=60 (40% dmg dealt)
40/35=1.143 = 14.3% dmg increased in this example against a sundered mob.
Infinity is reduced to -17 only, and it’s often either out of range or not applied in time. So flat pen is very important.

It also comes with

And most importantly for a trapsin, 20ias, for your trap laying speed (using a pb)

So… it just better in every way, for 1/10th the price

For the same reason, you would use doom -60 on s cold sorc, not a 30/-30.
Only the 6 fire facets makes sense, for a fire sorc/druid, as there is no alternative like cmoon/doom

+30% lite dam doesn't gain your damage in 30%, it just stack with your Lightning Mastery which is already around +550-600%
