Does Taunt interrupt your Frenzy attack?
Do you switch to Double Swing while you are using Frenzy?
Do you increase your run/walk speed while using Frenzy or Double Swing? or Taunt for that matter?

Have you gotten into the rhythm of using Frenzy without being crowded?

I think your play-style needs to be refined by you to get the answer you want.

for PVM in multi player Tzone, frenzy+WW combo has the better performance, plus grim ward would be even better.

invest only one point of frenzy as you first touch to get speed bonus then you starts WW.

make a grim ward from time to time, -120DR and slow down monsters. in exchage only one point shout though.

Frenzy only

The reason you see guides maxing double swing is simply because:

A. The normal progression when you lvl up is double swing into something else, which often needs you to respec at some point. If you’re building into frenzy, then you don’t even need to waste a respec, your early build was already contributing into its synergy.

B. Taunt sucks, you would never ever use it anyway.
