I've been a huge fan of Tesladin for decades but havent really had the time to test it out now with the new Sunder charms and stuff until this ladder and i tried some tweaks to it that im loving so far but being honest, havent had the time to fully compare to old builds.

That being said, here i am asking the community, what you guys think is the current BEST possible Tesladin build?


For this season i dropped the double Dream setup and went for a tad different path using Holy Shock myself and adding FoH to clean dolls and ghosts from a safe distance

Equipment:

Griffon (Lite Facet)
Sacred Targe (x4 Lite Facets)
Crescent Moon
Enigma
Maras
Blood Gloves (20ias 10CB STR)
Raven Frost
Rare Ring (FCR AR ML @res)
Tri Res boots

Inventory

Lite Sunder
Gheed
x5 Offensive Aura
ton of Resist sc


Skills

20 Res Lite
20 Salvation
20 Holy Shock (Shocking i know)
20 FoH
1 Holy Shield
1 Zeal
X Holy Bolt (any extra points)


Merc

Eth Andy
Forty
Infinity



So the idea was, since we already cleared enemy immunity using Sunder, wouldnt it be better to abuse the lite resis reduction from equipment (-80) + infinity conviction instead of using conviction myself and letting Dream x2 to do the shocking?

I would like to point out that im well aware that Grief is just too stupid good to not use, but i made this thinking about clearing hordes, not bosses. Still bosses are no issue due to gloves CB and static field from Crescent Moon


So far it has worked great for solo farming TZ but i was hoping you guys could point out the flaws or just throw your 2 cents on why this was a huge waste of time and fg (or a success, who knows)

25/25 +3 hs/foh scepter leaning more into foh >

trangs or mages over cb gloves. soj + fcr amu over maras and fcr ring

replace gheed with another skiller

flickering flame + coh on merc

love the 25/25 scepter suggestion, gonna work on it. Gonna miss ITD tho, but can live without it

as for the replacements, im trying to get a 2/20 pally ammy to get to the next BP, pushing it to 125 would do nothing for me since i play from South America, our ping makes 9 frames tp useless hehe, but i will try it on SP.

As for the last suggestion, what would be the point if the merc is not a dragon merc? im open to learn tho

yeah scepter makes the tick damage go through the roof. +2-3 foh also helps a lot

FF means you wont have to worry about fire res at all. just scs with light res

maybe i misinterpreted but afaik -enemy resistance doesn't carry over from mercenary to player, also, this is a full holy shock pally, so even if it did work it would be kinda pointless doesnt it?

no I mean the resistances you get from FF's fire res aura. you reach max fire res without any effort and can focus on getting 85 light res instead

ah that makes more sense, sorry for not getting it right away hehe. Yeah, getting all res to 75 (85 for lite) was a pain in the ass and a waste of inventory space (thats why im lacking 1 skiller (not counting gheed replacement)) I will consider this change if i ever see a chance to reduce 3 inventory spaces without messing with my lite res.

Read all posts. I think I got lost here.

Now if you change the merc Setup switching Armor and Helm, doesn't the Merc lose Life Leech, damage and IAS? Now guessing this is all right for Single Player (p1-3) ... is it decent P8?

Looks like a good setup... both from what I can see.
