Also nice to inform if GM melee, tvt or pubs are the plan for the build.

Druids has gotten a AR boost now. Which means i see no reason for fool's in public pvp and tvt. As long as you use demon limb.
However, it depends what wepon you rock.

There are several viable:
Eth botd ba: (excellent too boost life on a block setup, less dex investment, but not as powerfull as grief ba or pb)
Greif Ba: (Excellent for damage on a shielded setup)
Grief PB: (More base wepon speed, so more flexible than BA in other gear choice and better stack vs slow, 1 less range and less damage than BA)
Eth Death Ba: (good for fury vs fury, and other high lifed enemies, but has some ias issues in pubs/tvt)
Eth tomb reaver: (excellent overall 2 hander wepon. Most builds for pubs will more or less need those resists)
Eth Giant Tresher: (Best range and base wepon speed possible, a real nice contender, flexible)
Eth GPA: (Slightly better average damage compared to GT, but slightly more vulnerable to slow, also +4 range adder)
Psycho eth cruel or eth fools version can be nice, but exspensive... Typical bases would be BA or Dimmension blade upgraded to pb.

Rabies is ruined in d2r. Else plague, deathweb are usable, one can even use eth fleshripper now in d2r.

Hybrid (nado + wolf, or fire+wolf):
Here we have eth earthshifter. CAn make fun hybrids!

CTC wepons:
I prefer eth stormlash + phoenix. Both has ctc effects relevant.
Dual phoenix works to, but i prefer stormlash + phoenix.
A carrion can trigger stun, but is mainly a fun item, there are better rings for theese setups.

You can use metamorphosis and attack as bearshape to trigger mark of bear. Which is 180 seconds with 25EIAS add and 20% DR add.
