When the TZ is active in WSK, it is better as a mosaic sin to clear levels 1-3 while everyone else does throne.

You get 450% bonus exp from farming p8 as a solo, whereas you get ~190% bonus exp when farming with the p8 team.

I only tested each scenario once, so obviously there are variables in play, but as a mosaic sin with fast p8 clear speed, it is much more than twice as efficient to run solo wsk1-3 while everyone else does baal. Here are my results at level 98:


3,316,348,861 - 3,315,857,468 = 491,393 exp (p8 tz baal run with ondals being a bum)

3,318,214,859 - 3,317,586,506 = 628,353 exp (p8 tz baal runs + throne clear + resetting charge-ups between waves)

3,321,020,946 - 3,319,536,442 = 1,484,504 exp (clearing wsk 1-3 solo while everyone else does baal)


Conclusion: I've seen people purchase a service for p8 games for 500-1000fg per hour. It's not worth the price.

Holy moses that's some insane pricing. Cool research.

The reason you are gaining a ton of experience is because you are getting the "+% Extra KILL experience" since no other players are within the "KILL RANGE" and the WSK levels 1 to 3 are roughly the same as Throne negative 7 other players.

EDIT: it is like the person that kills Baal will get more experience than the rest of the group, this is why in 1.09 and 1.10+, you would have a full group attacking Baal, HOWEVER, the Light Javazon would Leave the group AND kill off Baal for the extra Experience points... well in those days a CS Zon would be the fastest killer on a Boss, some people will regroup as a 3 person group and kill off Baal, leaving the other group miss out on the Experience.

kILLER 97-99 Baal Runs used to happen often, even Hammerdins lost out if they were not in the right team.

#2 EDIT: Just for more information... in 1.09 that I remember, you would get rushed to Helll, @ level 1 (did not need to follow group), join the Hell Cow Runs or the Hell Blood Runs... in cows, you are level 1... you just stand there because they made it safe for you at the WP and kill every cow, and you gained experience... no matter the distance... Well Blizzard Patched that up with a Radius to gain XP... also patched it again with minimum level restrictions in Difficulties and Acts and Experience maximum gain at certain levels ... like Trist runs from 10 to 15 etc.
