which is better 200fcr vs self weild nova sorc
for mainly doing runs like shenk/ pindle/ eldrich.. fast runs,

player one games is what i play.

which would do more/ faster damage at the end of the day?

a build with 105 so self weild Es infinity - or crescent moon + spirit

OR 200fcr ( potentially max block)something like wizzyspike/ spirit or hoto/spirit,

vmagi, griffons, etc etc

very hard choice. I've tried both. The deal is this: With 200% fcr, it requires more lazer-sight eye-hand-coordination skills, and strong focus and brain activity. It's like the ultimate formula 1-car.. not too much armor, but runs fast as all hell. And you gotta be able to control it. You move fast as f. And i hate using that expression. But it's like, if you can do that, not waste any casts, play at maximum efficiency, i say 200% fcr is the fatest and the best overall. You got the speed, and you do GOOD damage.

Yet, when self-wielding, there are two beneficiary factors:

1) The conviction aura seems to activate faster, as if opposted to when it's on the merc. Even if the merc is teleported to your location each teleport, to me, it seems like it takes 0.1 extra second before it activates. And he will engage and run, and even if you will teleport near enemies to use nova, sometimes you run, and merc will wander some way off. At those rare occasions, conviction aura may not activate 100% on all enemies - costing you time, effort and money. When you wield the bastard yourself, NOW it seems to me like conviction activates like almost immediately. And this is a big benefactor. You will always, 100% of the time, get conviction aura immeidately ,from the first cast, every time youo teleport. No issues. When playing fast, that is important. No slip-ups.

2) Even if you now teleport a bit slower, now you do GREAT damage. Not just good, but GREAT. It's like, most monsters, even those with big hp, will go down relatively fast. 2-3 casts and they should die, maybe 4 and rarely 5. It's like they won't almost be able to touch you. Damage is through the roof. It's like almost double normal damage. And unmistakeably, it looks very cool and unorthodox to the sorc wielding a big poleaxe.

3) Hidden point: You can let merc use prayer+insight, now your mana+life regen is through the rooft. And that is a good thing. Personally, when even playing 200% fcr sorc, i play insight+prayer. The high mana is very helpful. I can never afford conviction on the merc. It's expensive. And i don't buy stuff to not support them botters.

Yeah. There are pros and cons. You gotta weigh it up. If you are the petter solberg of formula 1, go for 200% fcr and as good gear as you can. If you feel like you want the damage, and less speed, go for 120% fcr. Or is it 125, you know what i mean. That breakpoint.

A little fun factor: You can max static if you can, using that a few times, reduced soo many enemies with a lot of hit points, it can speed you up 10-20%.

Now that is also a good hidden point. Sometimes, when going fast for a long time, it becomes better to play slower but more damage. But it's like, both set-ups have very little diminishment. I.e. you can't diminish between them. There may be some differences if you play like 1-2 hours at full speed .... but thosse diffierences may be also some random factors. Do post your experience after playing some days if you can. It's fun to read first hand experiences.
