Does rabies flashing work in D2:R?

Figured I would ask before I go wasting my time building and testing.

For me rabies worked very bad on d2r.

I tried to rebuild a cheap version of my d2lod telewolf.
And rabies was useless on d2r.
Stopped working as soon as me or enemy left screen.
Stopped working as soon as i shapes to human for tele.
Switching to dw side did not seem to trigger higher damage.

For me it felt like rabies is plainly not working anymore, it dont seem to reapply itself like on d2lod. Did not seem to include facet and dw etc -res.

Well that’s very disappointing. I loved having a hybrid pub wolf. Maybe I’ll try fire claw.

I would do pure fury + rest into summons.
Else there is a fun hybrid using eth zod earthshifter + metamorphosis.

Its a fun way of hybriding wolf. Squishy in many ways, but flexible.

It's a shame rabies where destroyed in d2r. Because hybrid wolfs are really fun in d2lod, the added AR% on skills and the metamorphosis helm etc would make many fun builds availeble.:
