I thought phoenix monarch would be good to use since I won't be using insight for mana regen, but the 40% chance to cast firestorm really interrupts lightning fury a lot. What's best? dont want to spend money on a jmod

spirit is, always have been, always will be the only pvm java shield worth considering

silkweave helps a lot with mana. some decide to use res boots over it which is generally a bad idea since zons rarely take damage

enigma, of course. if your pvm char doesn't have teleport you've built it wrong

razortail is, always have been, always will be the only pvm java belt worth considering

none. raven + fcr ring (with ml) to reach 68 fcr

make sure you have 55 ias and 68 fcr

Thanks for all the help. But why ml ring ? I understand the fcr sure, but will ml help since im basically never hitting melee ?

lightning fury leeches a lot due to 100% pierce, especially with eth upg titans

Yeah, spirit + mana per kill / mana leech ( I have both on both) on ring and gloves + eth upg titans is all the mana I need. There are times when you drink a potion for sure if there aren't many mobs around to leech off of, but i wouldn't even consider using Pheonix. It's kind of a budget setup since the ring and gloves can be a bit expensive for the proper one.

Eth up titans, spirit, griffons with 15% ias jewel (and 15 res if you can, or light res to offset your sunder charm), enigma, highlords, 2/20/leech gloves, razortail, ravenfrost, 10 fcr / mana leech ring, and boots I like to round out my resistance. Silkweaves if you need but I don't use them.

With this build you hit 55% ias for cs which is kind of the accepted breakpoint for PvM, 68% fcr for nice teleport speed, and your resist are all maxed with some charms.

I wouldn't recommend any other build for PvM javazon, and I have done them all. You can, however, use t-strokes and a facet in your griffons to do a bit more damage if you want to solo some p8 terror zones, but you will absolutely notice the mana leech feels much, much worse without the titans.
