Hey everybody, I'm just starting in gm melee with some guild friends and really enjoyed it but got several questions regarding to melee rings

- In which scenarios you need to use a melee ring?
- What stats to look for on a melee ring?
- How does "xx stats" actually works? Like how many "stats" are min dmg, attack rating, life?

For swords/daggers Dex adds to both damage and ar
For axes Dex only adds to ar, Str adds to damage

Basically, look at the ring and ask yourself "Is this better than a perfect raven?" lol

Sword doesn't receive dmg from dex...daggers only

Priority for zeal/conc... dex > str > life > ar > min

`Ring Stat's Required For Gm Zeal/Conc:`
~ Ar
~ Str
~ Dex
~ Life
~ Res, Optional, Though Helpful, If Fire Res, Used For Enemy Torch Fire Storm Damage On Attack.
*Note: Use Highest Stat's Possible On Each Stat.

`Rare Ring Max Stat's:`
[120ar (suffix),
20str (prefix),
15dex (prefix),
40life (prefix),
60mana (suffix),
30fire res (suffix)].
*Note: Similar, But Stat's Vary For Crafted, i.e. Higher Life Than Rare Ring And Etc..

I'll focus on this, would like to get a 100+ar 15+str 15 dex 30+life ring

But how stats is determined? I mean, I guess 1 str/dex = 1 stat but how many ar/life/min is = 1 stat?

When using a spear zon, dex gives bonus to attack damage as well as strength.

6ar = 1stat (some sellers will tell u 5ar, but u shld determine on your own)
3life = 1stat for pally
4life = 1stat for barb
Max/min dmg depends alot on your other gear so you cant really place a stat value on it. Personal advise is that these are not worth it, if you wanted more dmg, just allocate some stat points in strength.

Most importantly, only use a melee ring if total stats exceed those of ravenfrost.
