I'm currently playing a level 85 Sorceress in D2R, focusing on Frost Nova and MF.

I still not having a good dmg and i'm looking for some help to adjust that.

Current Skill tree

Frost Nova: base Max
Cold Mastery: base 16
Blizzar: base Max (Frost Nova synergy).
Frozen orb: Max (Frost Nova synergy).
Frozen armor: base 1 (should i increase or change my kind of armor?)
Warmth: base max (Mana regeneration).


Current Gear (don't have sec gear yet)

Weapon: Occy

Shield: Spirit (Monarch).

Helmet: Shako

Armor: Tal Rasha's

Belt: Tal Rasha's

Gloves: looking for some magefist

Boots: War Traveler 46

Amulet: Tal Rasha's

Rings: 2x Nagelring

Annihilus and Hellfire Torch.


Mercenary Setup

Don't know what gear to use - For real i just came back to Diablo after more than 15 years
I know is the second act merc, but with which aura?

I was thinking about

Weapon: Insight

Armor: Fortitude

Helmet: Andys


Questions for the Community

Is there any way to optimize this setup while keeping Magic Find or even increase it?

Should I invest in more survivability for my Sorceress, such as Energy Shield or better resistances?

What small/grand charms should I prioritize to further improve efficiency?

Is Infinity worth it for a Frost Nova build, or is Insight better for sustain?

I think the question is why frost nova?

Infinity yes, max cold mastery and get a cold sunder, as many cold skiller as you can, you should also get a proper damage gear, as long as you are in the 200mf range you want to killl as fast as you can and not keep adding mf lowering your damage.
